At a time when farmers in other parts of the country are said to have
given up agricultural saying the
government has failed to bring proper policies to promote modern system of
farming, farmers in Dang district have brought a modern livestock farm into
operation. Fourteen youth entrepreneurs have been involved in the livestock
farm, which covers around 1285 hector of land at Fulbari VDC and supports 60
employees. Besides livestock farming, the farm also produces various
vegetables, fruits, crop development, and herb plantation.
