As an aid-Tibet project, the agriculture
demonstration garden is bringing huge income benefits to the local residents in
Yamda Township, Tohlung Dechen county of Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous
Region. At present, 93 local villages work on vegetable planting in the
demonstration garden. According to Hu Shimei, head of the Yamda Township, the
economic and social benefits fully reveal the great success of Aid-Tibet
project.
