TIBETAN LIVELIHOOD BASED ON ECOLOGY- CHINA

Tibet autonomous region in southwestern China is the last piece of pure land of the country and livelihood of people is hugely dependent on natural resources available. Local government has mentioned that it will make every possible effort to protect environment, secure livelihood of people and economic development of the region.  In 2013, Tibet had allocated around 460 million dollars to subsidize projects related to grassland and forests and expanded green area by more than 83,000 ha in the major river basin areas in the first three quarters of the year.
