Bhutan
had completely phased out the ozone layer depleting substance, the chlorofluorocarbon
in 2010. However, still it is sensitizing the custom officials to control the
imports and exports of ozone depletion substances containing products by
providing trainings. This initiative was
organized by the Department of Revenue and Customs under the Ministry of
Finance in collaboration with the National Environment Commission and the
Regional office of the United Nations Environment Programme.
