On behalf of the least developed countries (LDCs),
Nepal in Conference of Parties 20, United Nations Framework Convention on
Climate Change, has requested the international community to provide adequate
funding to the most vulnerable societies to adapt to negative impacts of
climate change. According to the chair of LDC group, though there is allocation
of fund to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), it is not sufficient to cope with the
adverse impacts due to limited capacities of those countries.
