Population
of wild buffalo (Bubalus arnee) has increased in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve
in Saptati district, eastern Nepal. According to the latest census, 327 numbers
of wild buffalos were recorded this year while they were only 259 in 2011. The Wildlife
Reserve administration has been counting wild animals every three years.
