Five irrigation water sources in Dochula-Menchuna Chiwog of Bhutan are obstructed
by muck dumped from the ongoing road widening sites between Menchuna to Lamperi
village. Villagers of that vicinity who own more than 80 ha of paddy fields fear
that they may not be able to carry out plantation this year as they depend on
the streams that flow below Lamperi to Menchuna for irrigation and drinking
water.
