Two leopards were found dead near Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara
western Nepal due to poisoning. According to the District Forest Office (DFO)
data, a dozen leopards were found dead this year while 15 died last year. The
main reason for this is suspected to be eating carcasses of domestic animals
treated by medicines.
