RED PANDA SPOTTED IN JUMLA- NEPAL



Endangered species Red Panda (Ailurus fulgens) has been found at different places of Jumla district, mid-western Nepal. According to the Red Panda Network (RPN), these species were found at Bahireypatan, Tayahkot and Imalchaydamar forests in the district. Red panda is one of the 27 protected species of mammals in Nepal and are mostly found from 2900-3000m altitude.
