A skeleton of the long lost dodo bird from the Island of Mauritius.  This flightless bird is a symbol of human ignorance when it comes to biodiversity and ecology.  

The graceful tripod fish with its long, bony rays that stick out below its tail fin and the pectoral fins. 


 An Ivory-billed woodpecker, considered critically endangered and possibily extinct by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
