DIFFERENT SHADES OF CONSERVATION- INDIA

Forestry Training Institute in Sundarnagar of Himachal Pradesh has included ‘Karate’ in its training course with an objective to impart self-defense skills for forest guards against forest mafia. Twenty seven forest guards have received training so far. Meanwhile, state government of Assam is all set to constitute a rapid response team to tackle human wildlife conflict in all the 21 territorial forest divisions. And to keep check on the poaching activities in Kaziranga National Park, it is stalling electronic eye systems.
