SANDALWOOD DECAYING - NEPAL

Red sandalwood (Pterocarpus santalinus) has started to decay in the godown of District Forest Office (DFO), Jhapa, eastern Nepal, that was imported from India, eight years back. The price is expected to be around NPR 10 million.
