Natural dynamics has become a challenge for conservation of
leopard in Nepal as the country decided to double tiger population by 2022.
According to the ecologists, tiger and leopard cannot reside on the same area
and increase in tiger's population push leopards to another part of the forest
or even in the human settlement area increasing human-animal conflict. This indicates the need to anticipate
consequences throughout other parts of the ecosystem too while conserving a species.
