Run For Biodiversity in October – Victoria & Toronto, CANADA

A Healthy Way to Support Farmers in Honduras!
DON'T DELAY, Victoria race registration fees go up July 15

Are you a Runner or a Walker?

Are you looking for a way to have some healthy fun with family or friends, and make a contribution to a cause you believe in? We just finished a very successful Run for Biodiversity (R4B) campaign in Ottawa and Calgary – and a very big thank you goes out to our 55 volunteers who ran or walked for USC Canada and helped raise over $11,500 in support of farmers in Nepal!

This October, we're expanding the R4B campaign to include the following races:

Victoria Marathon, Oct 7: includes marathon, half-marathon, 8km, kids run/marathon.
  • Toronto Waterfront Marathon, Oct 14: includes marathon, half-marathon, 5km.

We're hoping to raise over $15,000 to support USC’s work with seed-saving farmers in remote regions of the Central American country of Honduras. If you or anyone you know would like to participate as a runner or a walker, please send an email to David Rain at R4B@usc-canada.org, and we’ll send you the registration details.

Many thanks for joining us in the Run for Biodiversity and please feel free let others know about this too. We're hoping this year's Run will have “legs!”
