Local resident of Rawalpindi are at the risk of serious diseases like
hepatitis, jaundice and diarrhea as around 80 percent of the water supply was
found to be unsafe for drinking. The study conducted by Pakistani government’s
officials stress the need for increased access to potable drinking water.
