INCREASED SWAMP DEER POPULATION- INDIA

The population of eastern swamp deer has increased from 854 in 2014 to 1,129 in 2015 in Kaziranga National Park, Assam, north eastern India. About 328 adult males, 569 adult females, 122 yearlings and 110 fawns of the species were spotted.
