The tremor in Nepal has lead to epidemic
outbreak in several parts of the country. Earthquake victims of Bhuji VDC,
Ramechhap, central Nepal have been suffering from fever and vomiting whereas
people of Barpak VDC Gorkha district in western Nepal are reported to be
suffering from common cold, fever and diarrhea. Similarly, inhabitants of
Kathmandu are also vulnerable to water borne disease due to poor waste
management and open defecation.
