RARE ANIMALS FOUND IN HUMLA, MUSTANG (NEPAL)



A research conducted by Friends of Nature in the upper parts of Humla districts, western Nepal has found thriving wild species of Goa (Procapra picticaudata) also known as the Tibetan gazelle and Argali or the mountain sheep. The research team also found large number of wild donkeys in Mustang which has increased to 571 from 37 in previous survey of 2004. The team also found other endangered animals like the wild boar and habitat of five species of migratory birds.
