Till 2012 the Tibet
Environmental Protection Department has collected 40,000 sets of data and
completed 231 reports on various environmental parameters of Mt. Qomolangma,
Namtso Lake, Yumzhuoyongtso Lake, areas along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway as well
as the section from Lhasa to Shigatze.
