20,000 KM2 OF TIGER HABITAT LOST

The recent tiger census by the National Tiger Conservation Authority recorded a staggering loss of over 20,000 km2 of tiger habitat in four years from 2006 to 2010 because of encroachment and developmental activities across the country.
