PROTECTED BIRDS OF BHUTAN

Six birds including White-bellied heron, Chesnut-brested hill Patridge, White-rumped vulture, Nuthatch, Blyth’s Tragopan and Satyr Tragopan have been listed in the protected animal list. This is the first addition in the list after it was promulgated in 1995, now the total number of species protected in the country is 30.
