Macoun Marsh over Easter weekend (Canada)

Here are a few photos from my favourite marsh:

Flock of common redpolls in front of our outdoor observatory.  We feed them nyjer seed before they head back up north for the summer.

An Easter(n) Cottontail!

Siberian squill

Juncos stay from fall to spring, then they leave for the summer.

Coltsfoot flowers are now common.

Painted turtles love the mid-day sun.
