GAS CONNECTIONS BANNED - PAKISTAN

The Government of Khyber Pankhtunkhwa, northwest Pakistan has banned gas connections due to misuse of officials fund. It has created many problems for consumers. They have been demanding for the installation of power transformers.

SKY ROAD ELECTRICITY- CHINA

A 1,774 KM long sky road of electricity ranging from Qining in the east to Lhasa in the west was built in the world’s highest and coldest region, Qinghai-Tibet autonomous region, southern-western China. This is expected to solve the power shortage problem in the area. Altogether, 30,000 workers were involved in the project overcoming problems of high altitude, fragile ecological environment, frozen soil as well as technical difficulties.
