The World Bird Sanctuary

This past weekend, I had the privilege of being able to visit The World Bird Sanctuary, located about half an hour from downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The sanctuary held their open house on Saturday and Sunday, and it included behind-the-scenes tours! It was lots of fun and I got to see many types of birds. There was everything from Bald Eagles and Barn Owls to Pelicans and Parrots. There was also reptiles and mammals. With birds from around the world, The World Bird Sanctuary was a breath-taking experience I won't forget in a hurry. In fact, I've decided to apply to volunteer there. If I am successful, I will write about it on here. For more information on The World Bird Sanctuary, please visit www.worldbirdsanctuary.org
