ONE MORE NEW BIRD

With the sighting of great myna (Acridotheres grandis) inside the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve in east Nepal, Nepal’s total bird species stand at 869. Two great mynas were spotted by Badri Chaudhary, Cagan Sakercioglu and Suchit Basnet. The bird is similar to common myna in size but almost black in colour with a bright yellow beak and legs.
