The gross capacity of 200 megawatts solar power has
eased electricity shortage for more than 600,000 people in Tibet, southwest
China, with the accumulated investments of USD 644.23. Tibet receives an ample
amount of solar radiation with annual average of 6000 to 8000 mega joules/sqm.
