WOMEN’S INITITATIVE FOR FOREST CONSERVATION- NEPAL

Women’s participation has increased in conservation of community forests in Dang district, western Nepal.  Out of 502 community forests, 63 community forests are managed by women only. Women have been involved in decision making at all levels regarding forest and land conservation.
