CHILDREN OUT OF SCHOOLS- NEPAL

According to the survey conducted by Rural Development Center (RDC), around one third (42,200) children, mostly from Dalit and Muslim communities, are deprived of education in Rautahat district because the parents of these children are illiterate and unable to afford their children education. The children from Dalit families are discriminated against by the teachers.  Similarly in Baglung, over 7.5 percent of children have never enrolled in school due to economic reasons.
