NEW BIRD DISCOVERED IN CHITWAN- NEPAL



Bird experts have claimed that a new bird 'Muse Lekchari' (Prunella strophiata) has been discovered in Jyandala of Kaule in Chitwan district. According to Central Regional Coordinator of the Bird Expert Association, the bird is mostly found in the Himalayan region. The bird experts said the Muse Lekchari is found in Pakistan, Burma, Bhutan, Tibet, India, and Afghanistan. With this, as many as 569 bird species are found in Chitwan as against 800 across the country.
