Volvo Adventure Competitions

The Volvo Adventure competitions have now been permanently closed and the website is set to close at the end of January 2014.

The spirit of Volvo Adventure lives on, but the 2013 finals was the last year for the competitions and event.

We are immensely proud of the projects to date, the work we have achieved with our partners and all the participants who have been part of this fantastic initiative. In the 12 years since our first beginnings, we have awarded prizes for a wide range of initiatives, from 2002 to 2013, engaging with thousands of young participants from all across the globe who have continually inspired us to do more.

We don’t doubt that this will come as sad news to many, in particular those of you who were planning on entering your ideas for the 2014 competition, but please do check with our project partners - UNEP and the Scouts, who continue to run many great initiatives.

Whilst Volvo Adventure will no longer exist as a competition and annual event, the philosophy lives on in the way we approach sustainability throughout our company every day, from the way we involve and engage multiple stakeholders to the importance we place on contributing to Society.

Thank you for all your support over the years. What an adventure it’s been!

Kind regards
The Volvo Adventure team.
