The serious but unseen risk of
electricity in Barkor Street of Lhasa city has been eliminated by provision of
new electricity meters in each house hold. In order to improve electricity
supply in the old town of Lhasa city in Tibet, the central government has
invested about 0.36 billion U.S. dollars to provide new household electricity
meters. This will be complete in the
total region of Tibet by 2017.
