In my neighborhood and in the surrounding area you can see armadillos. They are nocturnal animals, which is why, when my mom and I saw one during the day it was very unusual. It was a baby wandering down our street all by itself. I am not sure if it was out due to construction related reasons, however this is most likely. I was afraid that a car might hit the armadillo, so I had to pick him up to move him off the road and to safety.
