WARMEST JULY FOR SHIMLA IN TWO DECADES- INDIA

Shimla witnessed the second warmest July in the past 21 years with July 1 recording 27.6 degrees Celsius. In July 3, 1991 it recorded 27.8 degrees Celsius. The average July temperature for this town in the previous years was 22.9 degrees Celsius according to a met official.  Increase in mercury level has been attributed to delayed monsoon.
